North Pond Notebook Cover - PDF PATTERN

Get organized in style—this useful cover protects your notebooks—with modern details and lots of pockets!

Use the North Pond Notebook Cover to make gifts for your friends or make some for yourself and get organized around your own home! It comes in two standard sizes, large for composition notebooks and small for journal-sized notebooks so that you can refill your cover with new paper over and over.

Practical pockets on the interior flaps provide spaces for pens, pencils, and loose papers. The snap closure adds stylish detail while keeping your papers secure. Gender-neutral styling makes this a great choice for men & boys too. Try it in waxed canvas or with leather accents for a more masculine look.

Details

The North Pond Notebook Cover pattern includes step-by-step illustrations and detailed instructions, along with supplemental photos. I've also included extra tips to achieve a professional-looking finish and helpful directions for making size modifications.

Unlike most notebook cover patterns, the North Pond Notebook Cover pattern contains actual pattern pieces instead of a list of rectangular measurements.

The covers were designed specifically to cover composition notebooks and large Moleskine® notebooks, though the covers can be modified to fit notebooks of similar sizes. Both of these types of notebooks are easily accessible, so you can refill your notebook cover over and over. I have specific measurements included for making A5 size notebook covers, plus basic instructions for making other size adjustments.

You can read this post for suggestions on the best notebooks to fit in your cover.
